Man Killed in Crash at Pacific Avenue and West 14th Street
Long Beach Hit and Run Pedestrian Accident Leads to Fatality
Long Beach, CA (July 27, 2018) – A man was killed in a Long Beach hit and run accident. The fatal crash happened on the evening of July 27 at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and West 14th Street.
The man was hit by a vehicle as he was crossing the intersection. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. A description of the suspect or his vehicle was not released.
The injured pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police are investigating the accident as an intentional act, but have not found a motive yet. It is believed that the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
