Man Pushes Wife Out of Harm’s Way Before Getting Hit in Fatal McClellan Park Accident

McClellan Park, CA (October 1, 2019) – An elderly man was killed in a hit and run crash in McClellan Park. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 1 at Palm Street and Arnold Avenue.

The 73-year-old man was crossing the intersection with his wife when he was hit by a truck. He had pushed his wife out of the way before he was hit. His wife was not injured, but the man died from his injuries.

The driver of the truck, a silver Toyota Tacoma, fled the accident scene. Police are still looking for the vehicle.
