Yermo, CA (March 17, 2019) – A man was killed after hitting a tree in Yermo. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of March 17 on Interstate 15.

The driver, a 55-year-old man from Bell Gardens, was driving a Toyota on the northbound Interstate 15, near Harvard Road. His vehicle drifted from the No.1 and No.2 lanes, across the right shoulder and into the open desert. He then hit a tree.

The man was stuck inside the Toyota and had to be removed by emergency crews. The man later died from his injuries.
