Elk Grove, CA (October 3, 2019) – One person was killed in a big rig crash in Elk Grove. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 3 on Interstate 5.

A big rig and a Toyota Prius collided on northbound Interstate 5 near Elk Grove Boulevard. The Prius was lodged underneath the trailer of the big rig. The driver of the Prius, a 27-year-old man, died at the accident scene.
