Passenger Suffers Minor Injuries in Fatal Camino Accident

Camino, CA (October 7, 2019) – A man was killed and another person was injured in a golf cart crash in Camino. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of October 7 on Carson Road.

A 44-year-old man from Texas was driving a golf cart at the Apple Mountain Golf Resort. He was speeding downhill when he lost control. He broke through a bridge and went into a creek. He was ejected and killed.

A passenger, a 31-year-old man from Sacramento, suffered minor injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
