Indio, CA (April 21, 2019) – An elderly man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Indio. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of April 21 on Monroe Street.

The man was walking across Monroe Street near Requa Avenue when he was hit by a car. He was not in a crosswalk at the time. The female driver remained at the accident scene. Roads were closed near the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
