Motorist Seriously Injured in Newark Train Accident
Newark, CA (July 15, 2018) – A woman was injured after her minivan crashed into an Amtrak train in Newark. The accident happened on the morning of July 15 on Cedar Boulevard.
The collision took place near the intersection of Cedar Boulevard and St. Isabel Avenue. A woman was the only occupant of the van. She was seriously injured in the crash and was rushed to a local hospital.
At the time of the accident, there were 24 passengers and five crew members on the train. None were seriously injured.
