Motorcyclist Johnny Trujillo Killed After Colliding With Deer on Highway 101
Arroyo Grande Crash Kills Johnny Trujillo
Arroyo Grande, CA (October 9, 2018) – A motorcyclist died after hitting a deer in Arroyo Grande. The fatal crash happened on Highway 101 on the morning of October 9.
The accident occurred on southbound Highway 101, near El Campo Road. A 54-year-old man was driving a Ford Mustang when he hit a deer. The impact threw the deer in front of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Johnny Trujillo, 49, of Los Osos.
Trujillo was ejected from his motorcycle and hit by Toyota Prius driven by a 67-year-old Arroyo Grande woman. Trujillo died from his injuries. The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured.
