Motorcyclist Killed In Colton Hit-And-Run Accident

A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Reche Canyon Road and Scotch Lane in Colton. The crash occurred about 5:00PM. When officers arrived, they found the injured motorcyclist. The victim was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment but later died of his injuries. The man was identified as 59-year-old Perris resident, Steven Owen Jarrell. Authorities said the driver of a Fiat crashed into the motorcyclist and fled the scene. The Colton Police Department’s investigation is ongoing.
