Officer James Nance Suffers Serious Injuries in Stockton Head-on Accident
Stockton, CA (August 28, 2018) – A police officer suffered serious injuries in a head-on accident in Stockton. The crash happened on the morning of August 28 at Claremont and West Yokuts avenues.
The accident occurred when James Nance, a veteran of the Stockton Police Department, was conducting a distracted driving enforcement duty. The driver of a Honda SUV collided head-on with the officer for unknown reasons.
Nance was seriously injured in the crash. He taken to a local hospital, where he is now in stable condition. The driver of the SUV remained at the accident scene.
