One Killed in Accident on 215 Freeway
Motorcyclist Dies in Riverside Crash
Riverside, CA (June 10, 2018) –A motorcycle accident in Riverside has killed a man. The fatal crash happened on the morning of June 10 on the 215 Freeway.
The accident happened on southbound 215 Freeway near Blaine Street. Ryan Andrew Burke was driving while under the influence and traveling at speeds over 100 mph when his Kia Forte rear-endeda Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The rider, a 50-year-old man from Long Beach, was ejected due to the impact. He died from his injuries.The Kia overturned and Burke, age 20,fled the accident scene on foot.
Police officers went to Burke’s Riverside home and found him intoxicated. He was arrested on felony hit-and-run, felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter. He was injured and receiving treatment.
