San Jose, CA (April 22, 2019) – A person was killed after getting hit by a train in San Jose. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of April 22 near the Blossom Hill Caltrain station on Monterey Highway.

A person was trespassing on Caltrain tracks when they were hit by a southbound Caltrain past the Blossom Hill station. The victim died in the crash. None of the 23 passengers aboard the train were injured. Buses were sent to pick up the passengers. The tracks closed but reopened less than two hours later.
