Rented Ferrari Fatal Accident on Highway 84 Near Woodside

A wrecked 2010 Ferrari California is towed through downtown San Mateo on Wednesday. David Michael Wright, 46, of San Jose, was killed when he crashed the high-end sports car on Highway 84 near Woodside, according to the California Highway Patrol.

On Wednesday, September 7th, 2016, the driver of a rented 2010 Ferrari was killed in a car accident on Highway 84 near Woodside. The driver, David Michael Wright, a 46-year-old San Jose resident, lost control of the vehicle while rounding a bend in the road near Skyline Boulevard. He lost control of the vehicle which plummeted down an embankment and came to rest after hitting a large Redwood tree. At the time of the accident, Mr. Wright was traveling with a group of other drivers of high-end sports cars. Despite wearing a seat belt, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The accident cause remains under investigation.

Jeffrey Nadrich, San Jose Accident Lawyer, notes that Highway 84 has been the site of a number of serious car accidents over the last several years. A contributing factor to many of the accidents is the curvy path of the roadway, particularly through the Woodside area. The entire legal team of Nadrich & Cohen, LLP wish to extend their heartfelt condolences to the family of David Michael Wright.
