Modesto Accident Injures 4; Alcohol a Factor
Modesto, CA (July 30, 2018) – An Oakdale woman was arrested for causing a head-on collision that injured herself and three other people in Modesto. The accident happened on the evening of July 30 on Highway 108.
Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the crash. A woman, 24-year-old Rhiana Beasley from Oakdale, has been arrested for her role in the accident.
Beasley was driving a Chrysler on Highway 108 at Skittone Road when she crossed over into the adjacent lane and into the path of a Jeep. The driver of the Jeep, 66-year-old Robert Steele from Modesto, could not react in time. The vehicles collided head-on.
Beasley had two boys, ages 3 and 6, in the car with her. Both were injured in the crash. Beasley was also injured in the crash. All three were taken to a local hospital. Steele suffered major injuries but sought his own medical treatment.
