Cerritos, CA (April 20, 2019) – One man was killed and another was injured when a vehicle overturned into a pond in Cerritos. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of April 20 on the 91 Freeway.

A Chevrolet HHR overturned on the eastbound 91 Freeway at the Shoemaker Avenue off-ramp. The HHR landed in a man-made pond. Emergency crews rushed the victim, 26-year-old Ricardo Bibian from Long Beach, to a local hospital, where he later died. A 19-year-old male passenger was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
