Ballico Accident Causes Major Injuries; Children Unharmed
Ballico, CA (February 20, 2019) – A head-on crash in Ballico has injured two people. The accident occurred on the evening of February 20 on Santa Fe Drive.
Samuel Torres, 21, of Turlock was heading east on Santa Fe Drive in a GMC truck eastbound on Santa Fe, while 30-year-old Vanessa Cosain of Ballico was heading west in a Ford Escape. The GMC drifted into the westbound lane, hitting the Ford head-on. The GMC became disabled, while the Ford overturned and landed in a ditch.
Cosain had two children – ages 2 and 6 months – in the Ford. Fortunately, they were properly restrained and did not suffer any injuries. Both drivers, however, were injured.
