Los Angeles, CA (April 3, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident in Los Angeles has injured several people. The crash happened on the evening of April 3 on Interstate 5.

Five vehicles collided on northbound Interstate 5 near Highway 118. A Toyota Corolla, a Nissan sedan and another car were among those involved. Emergency crews arrived and treated several victims, who suffered unknown injuries.

The database contains medical device reports submitted to the FDA via its Alternative Summary Reporting Program from 1999 to 2019. Reports which were sent to this database were not, until recently, made public. The Alternative Summary Reporting Program is a non-public database, unlike the FDA’s MAUDE database which publicly logs medical device failures or defects for public review.
