5-Car Accident in Walnut Creek Results in Multiple Injuries

Walnut Creek, CA (April 25, 2018) – A five-car crash in Walnut Creek has resulted in multiple injuries. The injury accident happened on the morning of April 25 on I-680 near Treat Boulevard.

The exact cause of the Walnut Creek crash is unknown, although it has been identified as a hit and run accident. It is unknown if police have the suspect in custody.

At least three vehicles have been towed from the crash scene, as the cars were severely damaged. Three ambulances were also at the scene. Three of the right lanes of I-680 in Walnut Creek were closed for about two hours, causing traffic in the Walnut Creek area to back up. However, the roads have since been reopened. While traffic is clear, police are still investigating the accident.

No further details have been reported. Details on the victims and their injuries have not been released.
