2 Injured in Accident Near Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo, CA (February 26, 2019) – Two people, including a San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s deputy, were injured in a two-vehicle crash in San Luis Obispo. The accident occurred on the morning of February 26 on Highland Drive.

A woman driving a Dodge Charger was turning left from Santa Rosa Street onto Highland Drive when she turned in front of a deputy’s unmarked squad car. The two vehicles collided.

The woman suffered minor injuries. The deputy had to be removed from his squad car. He suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
