San Jose Crash Causes Serious Injuries

Five people were hospitalized, one in critical condition, after an accident involving stolen vehicle on Monday night in San Jose, according to police.
Officers attempted to stop a stolen Honda Accord near McLaughlin Avenue and Tully, but the driver fled with no headlights on. The Honda then hit a Ford C-Max head on. The Honda continued on, landing on the sidewalk and hitting a pole.
The driver of the Honda was a 13-year-old boy. He was trapped inside the car, but was rescued and arrested. Three passengers, ages 13, 14 and 16, were injured in the crash. The driver of the Ford also suffered injuries. All are expected to survive.
