Stryker Orthopedics Has Settled All Outstanding Cases

Stryker Hip RecallStryker Orthopaedics announced, on November 3, 2014, that it has settled all filed cases against it concerning its recalled Rejuvenate and ABG II modular hip implants.

The settlement is expected to resolve all state and federal lawsuits in the litigation known as the “Stryker Orthopaedics Litigation”.  The total settlement amount is in excess of $1.25 billion. There have been 4,000 lawsuits filed in the last two years.  The settlement includes all federal court cases which have been filed.

The base award for each of our clients who had a revision procedure is $300,000. However, that amount can increase if we can show there were additional surgeries, continued problems beyond the first revision procedure, etc.  Further, if a client had to have both hips replaced, they would receive $300,000 for each hip.

The Defective Medical Device Attorneys at Nadrich & Cohen, LLP continue to pursue claims against other defective hip manufacturers. If you or a loved one have suffered complications from a hip implant, contact our attorneys now for a free, confidential consultation. We never collect a fee for our services, unless a recovery is made.
