Teen Charged In Fatal Car Crash in Anaheim

Jorge Esteban Lunas Martinez, 18, was speeding down a residential street around 3:15 a.m. when he lost control of his Nissan Maxima and collided with a Toyota Camry pulling into an apartment complex in the 1500 block of West Ball Road, causing a rollover collision, the Anaheim Police Department said.

Authorities are currently trying to ascertain whether he was involved in a road race before the crash. Martinez was intoxicated. A girl in the car with him was taken to a hospital. Police arrested Martinez.

The victim was pulling into his driveway when his vehicle was struck by Martinez’s speeding vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was an expectant father.
