Troy Holder Dies in Oakdale Motorcycle Crash
Oakdale, CA (August 20, 2018) – A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Oakdale. The fatal accident happened on the evening of August 20 on Rodden Road.
The 22-year-old Oakdale motorcyclist, identified as Troy Holder, died while riding on Rodden Road near Kerr Park. He was riding a Harley-Davidson at around 65 mph while approaching a sharp curve. While in the curve, the motorcycle fell into the eastbound lane.
At the same time, a Toyota was in that lane. The two vehicles collided, with Holder and the motorcycle going under the Toyota. The driver of the Toyota, Lucas Bell of Knights Ferry, was able to stop the vehicle.
Holder was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Bell and his passenger, Jamie Norwood from Oakdale, suffered minor injuries.
