Vanessa Nichole Salcido Dies in Crash on North Spruce Street


Skateboard Accident Kills Vanessa Nichole Salcido

Santa Ana, CA (July 22, 2018) – A woman was killed in a skateboarding accident in Santa Ana. The fatal crash happened on the morning of July 22 on North Spruce Street.

A 24-year-old woman, identified as Vanessa Nichole Salcido, was riding a skateboard as she was pulled by a vehicle in the 2400 block of North Spruce Street. She fell to the ground and suffered major injuries. She was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

The person driving the vehicle is cooperating with authorities. It is believed that alcohol played a role in the crash.
