Hit and Run Accident in San Diego Causes Minor Injuries

San Diego, CA (May 15, 2019) – A woman suffered minor injuries in a hit and run crash in San Diego. The accident occurred just after midnight on May 15 on Interstate 5 near Imperial Avenue.

A Jeep SUV and a Toyota Camry collided on southbound Interstate 5 near Imperial Avenue. The impact caused the Jeep to flip over. The Toyota came to rest at the median. The driver of the Toyota fled the accident scene.

The female driver of the Jeep was trapped inside. She was rescued by emergency crews and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
