Garden Grove, CA (May 8, 2019) – Three people were arrested after a robbery attempt in Garden Grove killed a woman. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 8 on Brookhurst Street.

Three robbery suspects tried to steal a woman’s purse in the parking lot of a shopping center in 13900 block of Brookhurst Street. In the process, they ran over the woman and sped off toward the 22 Freeway. 

The suspects abandoned the vehicle near Century Boulevard and the 110 Freeway. They were later arrested. The 32-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. The three suspects were caught, arrested and taken to jail.
