MTD Bus Hits Victim in Fatal Santa Barbara Accident

Santa Barbara, CA (October 9, 2019) – A woman was killed when she was hit by an MTD bus in Santa Barbara. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of October 9 at Chapala and W. Figueroa streets.

An MTD bus drove up on the sidewalk curb before hitting two people. It then hit three cars and a van before coming to stop inside a city parking lot.  A woman was killed in the crash. A man next to her was hospitalized with serious injuries.
