Corona, CA (May 13, 2019) – A woman was killed in a hit and run crash in Corona. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 13 on the 91 Freeway.

The crash happened on the 91 Freeway, near Green River Road. A 33-year-old Riverside woman pulled over to the shoulder of the freeway to help a friend in another vehicle. She was tending to her friend when she was hit by a passing vehicle. The victim died from her injuries.

The driver failed to stop. He later abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. The man reported the accident once he got home. Police arrested him.
